Day 1Colour looks fresh and stronger than the final healed result.
Days 3–7Dryness, light flaking or patchiness can appear as the skin starts to heal.
Weeks 2–4Colour softens and settles. It can temporarily look lighter before returning.
Perfecting stageThe healed result is reviewed and appropriate refinements can be made.

Will we choose the shape and colour together?
Yes. Your treatment is designed with you before pigment is implanted. The aim is a shape and colour that suit your natural features and feel right for you.
Does permanent makeup look darker at first?
Fresh permanent makeup usually appears stronger immediately after treatment. It softens as the skin heals and the pigment settles.
How long does permanent makeup last?
Longevity varies according to treatment, skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and pigment retention. Permanent makeup gradually fades and may need maintenance over time.
Can I book if I have old permanent makeup?
Existing pigment needs to be assessed first. In some cases it can be refreshed or adjusted; in others, removal or further fading may be recommended.

We discuss your goals, medical history, existing pigment where relevant, suitable techniques, colour, shape, healing and aftercare so you know what to expect.
